Rhymes Tables was inspired by the creator’s oldest son. He was eight years old at the time and even though he was a bright kid, he resisted focusing on and learning the times tables. He was falling behind in third grade math, and flash card methods were not working. Desperate, they looked at the alternative teaching methods, but found that they were no better. Nothing was working. Finally, they felt inspired to create a new system, and it worked! The system was fun and engaging. As word spread about its success, family, friends, and even the neighborhood kids all wanted to use this new system.
